Your second day is already planned out and will be to see around the city. In the morning, right after breakfast you begin your day’s adventure. First, you visit the sacred Pashupatinath Temple, an example of the Hindu religion that exists here. The temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is located along the banks of Baghmati River. You proceed to visit the Bouddhanath Stupa, one of the oldest Buddhist milestones in the country. You further move to visit Patan or locally known as Lalitpur, it falls under one of the UNESCO Heritage sites. All known for the architectural works, it is decorated with numerous palaces, structures and pagodas. The ancient arts of the city reflects from this area. Patan is also home to the Refugees from Tibet, so they add up to the color and culture of the place more, they set up shops that sell traditional items. The sightseeing trip ends with your visitation to Swayambhunath, it is one of the main highlights of the city. It is placed on top of a hill, it was believed to have been there since 2000 years ago.the day ends with your returning to the hotel for an overnight stay.
